About QuaranTeams

QuaranTeams is a game that can be played with family and friends, no matter how far apart you are. QuaranTeams is not only about fun but about helping families and individuals in need. This action-packed game is fast-paced with zero set up. A series of challenges flash across the screen, and the first group or individual that finishes gets the point. Whether you are social distancing or live miles apart, QuaranTeams is an exciting way to connect with family and friends..

Our Mission

In addition to providing fun interaction opportunities from a variety of locations, QuaranTeams’ mission is to raise money for families and individuals that have been afflicted by the various effects of Corona Virus. In response to some of the financial challenges resulting from this pandemic, QuaranTeams will pledge $2 from every purchase to one of our sponsored families or individuals. In hopes of helping as many people as possible, we will cap the amount recipients can receive from Quaranteams at $5,000. However, any extra donations, beyond the purchase price, made to a specific sponsored family or individual will go entirely to them. Families and individuals in need can be nominated by friends, colleagues, or relatives. Nominations will be reviewed, based on need, and then families and individuals to sponsor will be selected by a committee. QuaranTeams will document and share the recipients’ experiences so everyone involved can feel the joy of giving back! We plan to continue to help those in need after the virus is contained because there are always those who need an extra hand.

Hsu Family

A Family in Need

Meet the Hsu Family! Sarah and Han Min have been married for 20 years. Together they have 5 amazing children. Sarah is a wonderful elementary school teacher that has a great love for each of her students. Her husband has worked as the head chef of Tepanyaki for the last 10 years. The last few months have brought some challenges to the Hsu family. At the beginning of 2020, Sarah‘s older brother passed away suddenly. This was a devastating blow to her as they were only 18 months apart in age and were as close as siblings could be. Sarah was grateful that she had the distractions of school and being surrounded by her sweet students to keep her spirits up. The COVID-19 shutdown brought additional stress to her family. She found herself suddenly teaching her students remotely from home while also helping her children do their schoolwork. It’s been a tough transition for all but was then complicated as her husband has now also been unable to work due to the shutdown. Being in a higher risk category with diabetes has just added additional stress and worry. We all know how hard teachers work and how much they do for our children. Let’s show this sweet family our appreciation. Anything we can do to help this family will be so appreciated!
